I spent the evening having a pretty long and meaningful four hour conversation. The only reason it was cut short was because I was getting tired. These types of things don't happen too often and they're so wonderful when they do. It's really hard to find something to talk about with people for that length of time, and not have any awkwardness, moments of silence, and even boredom. There are moments in life where we do feel alone, and that we don't have people to relate to. We all go through this, but it's at times when we should remember moments like this evening. These are lasting connections with people, that spark interest and genuinely make you feel refreshed and recharged afterwards. Sometimes we're in the mood for chipper small talk, and that's great in its own right, but long open and honest talks about meaningful things in life are special, because the interest and connection you have with that person is lengthy, that's kind of what's so great about it. It's almost like a savour
ed thank-you, hug or even smile. Good stuff.
