My sister married into a family, and they have now become an extended part of our immediate family. After coming home from thanksgiving dinner at her in-laws house, I realised what a blessing it is to have more people in my life who care about our well being, and who we can share things with, and vice verse. It really is a beautiful thing, to think that once you marry someone, you are extending your family beyond your immediate boundaries. And of course this may come with trials and tribulations, but for what it's worth with more family, comes more love, at least in the best cases. And although to some this might seem cumbersome, having more people in your life to worry about, when you think about it, I guess slightly selfishly, there are more people in your life that worry about you too. And that really is a blessing, someone taking you in as one of their own. The more loved ones you have, the more blessed you are. Love from a family member is positive wishes directed towards you, and that really is something we should all be thankful for.
