Usually hard work we do, either personal or professional projects, have a pretty big impact on us. These projects take a lot of time and energy and can be emotionally and mentally draining. In some ways these creations become beings in themselves. Things that you care for and are emotionally attached to. And on occasion there are people out there who take a keen interest in what you're doing. Somehow, when this happens, it is uplifting and refreshing, like a cold glass of water or cool breeze. You work hard, get deeply involved, hands dirty and such, then, someone comes along, and with a simple smile of appreciation or, "looking good" brings you back to a reality where your work is being appreciated. And that's really refreshing, after a hard day's work.
