Day 110 - sharing interests

Personal interests give you enjoyment and fulfillment. They are hobbies and leisure activities that are releases and on some level or another sacred to each individual; which is why they often provide a sense of identity. Sharing these interests with people is a very special things for these reasons. When you share cultural interests with people it's an opportunity to gain insight about yourself, the other person and the various influences in this world. Often times we can find people using these interests as leverage to differentiate themselves from other people, and you can't blame them personal taste is part of what makes you unique. But, sharing something with a person because you want to define yourself isn't a selfless act. And as the fare school specials cleverly say, sharing is caring. Which is why sharing interests is such a unique moment, because its a time when people can gain insight in themselves and each other by sharing a moving experience.
