It's really difficult to meet someone, get a first impression and not pass a judgment on whether or not you like that person. There are people out there however that have a keen understanding that people have layers. They give people more of chance to show themselves before they form a solid judgement, and even then that judgement is loose, and is towards a specific aspect of that person's personality. It's really unfair to write people off easily, I know I've done it plenty of times. We tend to overvalue the shortcomings people bring forth rather then trying to look past those imperfections, and give people more of a chance to let their true colours shine through. When you judge someone, or are being judged, it's pretty clear, you can feel it. Try it sometime. The more you let people be, without passing a judgement, the more comfortable they will be to be themselves, and it's sometimes only then when we realise the value a person has. Because for the most part, all of the negativity that may cause a false judgement is either a by-product of our own insecurities, or the other persons.
